Our Beliefs & Mission

Jesus is the head of our church, and His Word is the standard for how we live — as individuals and as God’s family — for the glory of God

Our Vision

To be a growing church in obedience to the Bible for the glory of God. We will utilize a variety of worship styles, develop disciples and leaders through Bible studies, small groups and volunteer opportunities.

We will focus on reaching out to the major ethnic groups in our community without distinction or separation.  We envision growth through an emphasis on outreach to the unchurched community.

Our Mission

  • Be One
  • To be one person who is faithful to God by knowing Jesus Christ in a personal relationship, by coming together to worship God joyfully, and by living in daily obedience to God’s Word.
  • Bring One
  • To bring one person to a personal relationship with Jesus by communicating the gospel in our neighborhoods, and around the world, by meeting the needs of people lovingly, and by daily living a God-honoring life.
  • Build One
  • To build one person to maturity in Christ by teaching God’s Word, the Bible, by caring for one another as a community of Christian friends, by making disciples and disciple makers, and by equipping Christians for ministry (every member a minister).

Our Core Values

  • Biblical Teaching: John 8:31
  • Unity: John 13:35
  • Empowering for Service: John 15:8
  • People Matter: 2 Peter 2:9
  • Evangelism and Outreach: Luke 19:10

What We Believe...

We believe the Bible alone (the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments) is the inspired, inerrant, authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that all individuals are lost and sinful by nature. For their salvation, regeneration by the Holy Spirit given as a result of personal faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely essential. Salvation is an eternal gift from God, it cannot be earned.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who enables Christians to live a godly life, by dwelling within them.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. The body of Christ is the true universal church of which Christ is the head.

We believe in the resurrection of the saved unto eternal life and the lost unto eternal condemnation.
